Description

Performer: LeAnn Rimes
Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQqkBi…
From: Quest For Camelot

Lyrics:
Look at the sky
Tell me what do you see
Just close your eyes
And describe it to me
The heavens are sparkling
With starlight tonight
That's what I see
Through your eyes
I see the heavens
Each time that you smile
I hear your heartbeat
Just go on for miles
And suddenly I know
My life is worth while
That's what I see
Through your eyes
[Chorus:]
Here in the night
I see the sun
Here in the dark
Our two hearts are one
It's out of our hands
We can't stop what we have begun
And love just took me by surprise
Looking through your eyes
I look at myself
And instead I see us
Whoever I am now
It feels like enough
And I see a girl
Who is learning to trust
That's who I see through your eyes
[Chorus]
And there are some things we don't know
Sometimes a heart just needs to go
And there is so much I'll remember
Underneath the open sky with you forever
[Chorus]

You know, I know a friend of mine named Easarix (who I definitely recommend to look up her amazing works) have a guilty pleasure watching the movie Shark Tale, which is considered by many as a god-awful movie, but she actually liked the movie, even though there are things she hate about the movie. I heard one of the main reasons she liked the movie is because of Robert De Niro as the mafia shark boss (which, thankfully, isn't as bad as it sounds).

Well, I sort of share the same kind of guilty pleasure for an animated film as she does, through the Warner Bros. animated non-hit, Quest For Camelot. Even though the movie had a mixed reception and was a commercial failure, with Lauren Faust regretting making the movie, I personally liked the movie. I actually love the idea of mixing the concept of King Arthur's tale and fantasy elements. I liked the songs, some of the characters (namely Gareth, the blind warrior, the villain voiced by good ol' Gary Oldman, and believe it or not, the two headed dragons, who could've been a hell of a lot more annoying, but thankfully aren't), and the art-style (even though it screams Disney rip-off). So even though it was more of an afterthought, I decided to use one of the songs from the movie for this picture of Virtua and Indigo before they broke off.

I dunno, it started good at first, but when I noticed some errors, that's when everything went downhill. Again, it's another one of those goddamn patterns: whenever I notice an error, it becomes a downward spiral in terms of quality. I dunno how the hell that works.

Oh well, just have these two about to make out. So how did they got separated to begin with? Well... you'll have to wait and see.

Oh, and one more thing: I used one of SenshiStock's stock picture as a reference to Virtua and Indigo. You can see the picture I used here-->fav.me/d1xcp74

Gee, Quest For Camelot! I remember that movie, I used to watch it a lot as a kid on my old VHS, good times. Even though it's not on my favourites list, a few of the songs still hold a nostalgic place for me, including the two-headed dragon. :XD: (By chance, Looking Through Your Eyes and I Stand Alone are the ones I like the best).

But seriously, I don't think anyone should feel bad for liking a movie that happens to have a low score or assumed as "bad" by most critics, because we all have guilty-pleasures. Sure, there are bad movies I certainly don't like (for instance, Food Fight! makes me cringe), but just like comedy, it's subjective. I actually happened to like Shark Tale because not only I found the whole "shark mafia" idea interesting, but also because the characters had both qualities and flaws (albeit, Oscar had too much screen time, even for a protagonist). It's just my opinion, of course, everyone is free to disagree. :)

(I couldn't agree more with you about the "notice one error and then the drawing's screwed", I understand the feeling completely. However, I think you did their poses pretty well, and believe it or not, it took me a big while to see Virtua's shins).
